Question: Can I use this with my desktop pc for voiceovers or do I need an adapter?
Answer: yes, it can use with desktop pc. the adapter is already included in the box. but I think the desktop pc does not need an adapter.

Question: How well does it remove white noise?
Answer: White noise is inherent to these type of devices, you will need to speak out a little louder to minimize the with noise a little bit, it will come back if you remain silence or you can use your editing program for keying out the section where nobody is speaking and bring it back up when the person is speaking (could be labor-intensive). Question: How long can the battery last?

Answer: dear, if keep the microphone to turn on in 24hrs everydayï¼ the battery will run out in 3 weeks, but if just use the microphone sometimes and turn it off when not in use, the button battery will work for several months. may this answer help you?

Question: Do I need to download an app to use

Answer: With my camera and camcorder, there was an auxiliary 1/8" microphone socket there - just plugged it in, switched the microphone battery to "on" and it worked fine. On a Pc computer, if your computer does not instantly recognize it, you may have to go to your "speaker and sound properties" and turn it on. With "Audacity" software, it found the microphone with a few setting adjustments. This product should not require any special app to use - but I have not yet used it with a "smartphone"

Question: Is this phantom-powered? Or what exactly does a battery do?

Answer: The battery powers the microphone when the device you plug it into does not supply power. For instance, with my Android phone, I turn the switch to the "Off/cellphone" position, and with my camcorder, I switch it to the "On/camcorder" position. It works great both ways!

Question: does it work with a Mac apple laptop?

Answer: Hi Izzy. I haven{t tried it on a Mac, however, the description says: The 3.5mm TRRS Jack is compatible with computer, Apple products, Android & Windows.

Question: Is this compatible with a canon t3i?

Answer: It works great with my Canon HF-R500 camcorder with an external microphone input. Sound quality is 100 times better than with the built-in microphone!

Question: Will this work with a sony fdr-ax53?

Answer: Check if there’s external audio input. It needs to be a quarter-inch

Usually, for common items, we ship from our overseas warehouses to the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, which need 5-12days.
