In order to meet the new needs of customers and improve the shortcomings of certain functions in previous versions, our products are constantly updated and iterated to enhance the user experience.
Recently, we have partially upgraded the MAONO AME2 audio interface based on feedback from users. Next, we will explain the upgraded parts.

Main New Functions
1. You can charge mobile phones with USB-C interface through the USB-C interface of the audio interface —— the original AME2 only has a charging function and cannot charge mobile phones.
(1) When an external power supply is used to supply power through the audio interface DC-5V interface, the USB-C interface of the audio interface can charge the USB-C mobile phone;
(2) When the computer USB port is connected to the audio interface DC-5V port for charging, the audio interface USB-C port can charge the USB-C mobile phone;
while the audio interface's USB-C port charges the mobile phone, it can also interact with the mobile phone. Transmit digital audio signals;
(3) When the DC-5V interface of the audio interface is not connected to an external power supply, the USB-C mobile phone connected through the USB-C interface of the audio interface cannot be charged, but digital audio signals can be transmitted to each other.
*USB-C mobile phone needs to support or turn on OTG function.
(4) Lightning interface mobile phones do not use the standard USB-C protocol.
When using an external power supply or connecting a computer to power through the audio interface DC-5V interface, the audio interface USB-C interface uses a USB-C to Lightning data cable, which can support charging of mobile phones with Lightning interface but does not support audio signal transmission;
When there is no external power supply through the audio interface DC-5V interface, the audio interface USB-C interface uses a USB-C to Lightning data cable, which does not support charging and audio signal transmission for Lightning interface mobile phones.
2. Button background lighting & microphone monitoring switch
(1) The light is turned on by default when the light is turned on. When the user does not need the light, press and hold this button for 2 seconds to turn it off. After the light is turned off, other buttons have only functions and no light. After the light is turned off, press and hold for 2 seconds to turn on the light.
(2) The microphone monitoring function is turned on by default when it is turned on. Short press and the microphone monitoring function is turned off with a prompt sound. Short press again and the microphone monitoring function is turned on with a prompt sound.
Update Summary
Updated compared to the original AME2 version:
(1) The USB-C charging function for mobile phones has been added, which can meet the needs of customers while charging;
(2) Solve the problem of broken sound caused by no gain adjustment of the instrument;
(3) The delay is reduced from 31.46ms to 16ms;
(4) The sound effects have been optimized, and the changes in high/mid/bass/pitch adjustment are relatively obvious; the scene sound effects have been adjusted, the reverberation effect has become clearer and cleaner, and the effect difference is more obvious;
(5) Customized special effects recording logic changes, more user-friendly operation: specifically, long press to start recording, now single click to record, better accurate time point, special effects playback has been added, click again to stop playback function;
(6) The microphone is prone to broken sound.
