What Users Said

This is not my first time using a desktop microphone, but it is my first time using a desktop wireless microphone. To be honest, it is much better than I expected. I can get rid of the interference of the data line and achieve flexible use of the microphone. It is very practical and interesting. The feeling that pd200w gives me is very real. No matter how I adjust the parameters, it will retain the original clear voice. This is very good. You can customize the sound curve according to your needs instead of making a false voice.

I am absolutely thrilled at how crisp and well represented my voice is with the PD200W! I feel like it captures me as well as my much more expensive Shure SM7dB. It is so clear, picks up whispers and doesnt hardly distort when I raise my voice. The background noise cancellation is more natural and effective than ever. I tested with a bathroom fan and a loud radio running in the room next door and they aren’t even present at all in the audio. Yet, when I turn off any background sound that I can, the sound quality is especially incredible!! This is truly one of the best sound experiences ive ever had with Maono or any microphone at all. Considering how versatile it is, I cant wait to suggest this to people. I really HOPE I can have a production model to create a video about!

I am a tech reviewer so I have a lot of wireless electronics active at all times, I didn’t experience any interference which surprised me a great deal, I also did not perceive any uncomfortable latency but I also use my editor to match audio tracks frommy camera, as well as my microphone capture, and so, maybe that is why I didn’t experience latency per se. I still have my concerns about wireless because I’ve had bad experiences in the past, but the Maono PD200w did not give me any issues.

Game Tech Talk

I have mostly used a desktop type mic. Started with Maono after seeing a comparison video with the 400 compared to a Shure SM7B. Have been watching the SM7B for a while but my Maono was a 1/3 the price and works just as well with more versatility. I can’t get away from it. I was already figuring that Maono would bring more to the table with another mic. I knew nothing about the 200 series prior. I wanted an open mind.
